 I have always been fascinated by the ancient world, the culture, history and literature of the Greeks and Romans. I have a PhD in Classical Civilisation and I have taught classes both to undergraduates and to adult learners on Greek Myth.

Here I hope to share some of my interest and enthusiasm for the Ancient World, as well as other topics including history, fiction, mythology, world religion and television drama.

My blog The Gardens of Lucullus is dedicated to my writing on ancient world topics, while Reflections on a Floating World is a more general review and discussion blog, covering fiction reviews, the ups and downs of freelance writing and updates on current projects.
